What is a service, Full Service, or Reconditioning? A Full Service includes all applicable items listed below. Compression test, Sparkplug check or replacement, Adjust valves and cam chain, Check coolant and system, Service battery, Service air filter, Adjust carburetor and throttle cable, Replace engine oil and filter, Adjust autolube pump (2-cycle), Adjust clutch (shifter models), Inspect drive belt and clutches (automatic models), Replace rear drive lube, Grease axle splines, Replace front gearbox lube, Replace transmission fluid, Replace front hub oil, Service range selector system, Adjust front & rear brakes-check system-lube if cable system, Grease all zirks and lube points per manual, Adjust & lube drive chains, Adjust tire pressure, Check wheel hubs and lugs - torque, Inspect chassis and suspension components, Inspect universal joints, Inspect CV and drive line boots, Inspect electrical system and components, Check for loose or missing fasteners, Test ride. All components found to be out of specifications are replaced.

A Reconditioning includes a Full Service plus cosmetic reconditioning such as: Repair or replacement of damaged fenders, bumpers, racks, seats, guards, controls, bash and skid plates, rims, instruments, and added accessories. |
